Hello! My name is Janelle Veenema, and I am an Ottawa florist who loves spreading joy through flower arrangements. I’ve been arranging flowers for friends and family for many years! Recently, I decided to turn my passion into a business and have been providing stunning floral arrangements for all occasions.

Flowers have always held a special place in my heart. In fact, my last name and the name of my studio mean "from the soil" in Dutch, reflecting my heritage and connection to the earth. My Dutch family has played a big role in my love of flowers. My Opa was always in his garden, and I learned from him the joy that comes from working with plants and flowers. For me, flowers are a way to connect with my roots and to share that connection with others.

There is something magical about cut flowers - they are delicate, beautiful, and fleeting. Yet, they bring so much joy and happiness to those who receive them. In a world that can be so difficult and challenging, flowers are a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us.

As a florist, my goal is to bring that beauty and joy to others. I love creating arrangements that capture the essence of the flowers and the emotions they represent. Whether it's for a special occasion or just because, I believe that flowers can brighten anyone's day and bring a smile to their face.
